The band is best known for its hit songs "More Than a Feeling", "Peace of Mind", and "Foreplay/Long Time".

Boston was formed in 1976 by Tom Scholz, Brad Delp, Barry Goudreau, and Sib Hashian. The band's self-titled debut album was released in 1976 and was a huge success, selling over 17 million copies worldwide. The album featured the hit singles "More Than a Feeling" and "Peace of Mind".

Boston's second album, Don't Look Back, was released in 1978 and was also a commercial success. The album featured the hit singles "Don't Look Back" and "A Man I'll Never Be".

Boston's third album, Third Stage, was released in 1986 and was not as commercially successful as its predecessors. However, the album did feature the hit single "Amanda".
